College Access Grant Georgia

Working under the premise that too few Georgians possess the credentials needed for good jobs and a competitive economy, the Georgia Partnership for Excellence in Education works with other state agencies and organizations (see left column) to recruit more high school graduates, especially low-income, to enroll in college.

With the statewide implementation of a college access plan funded by a U.S. Department of Education multi-year grant, the Partnership's role includes reaching out to the business community to help deliver the message, "College Education Matters."

(The grant period concluded in 2015.  The College Access program is no longer being administered.)
