This Week in Education
The U.S. Department of Education has made available online data on student achievement in reading and mathematics, high school graduation rates, schools making adequate yearly progress, highly qualified teachers, parents taking advantage of tutoring and choice options, state participation in flexibility options and more.
Information is available at the national and state levels.

The Governor's Office of Student Achievement has launched Georgia's Education Scoreboard, an electronic resource that concisely and transparently reports data on the quality and progress of education in Georgia.
The Scoreboard provides bottom-line data for Georgia's K-12 schools, colleges and universities and technical colleges. Stakeholders can search for information on a particular school and compare that data against school systems in Georgia, southeastern states, or the nation.
The Governor's Office of Student Achievement (OSA)
Rankings of the States 2006 and Estimates of School Statistics 2007, contains data based on information from state departments of education and other, largely governmental, sources.
